With such a powerful phone with so much hype behind it, the iPhone 3G didn't have alot of things that some of even the most suckiest phones on the market have. Examples would be a video camera, a flash or zoom on the camera, picture messaging, landscape text, voice recorder, etc. That was of course all solved with the release of the iPhone 3Gs, a new model of the 3G which features a video camera, voice recorder, and the iPhone 3.0 software, which can be downloaded onto the older iPhones which includes MMS, landscape texting, faster internet, and a voice recorder. But! when you downloaded the long but worthy update for the phone, you didn't get MMS (picture/video texting). It was delayed and would be in an update that was supposed to be in "Late July" but recently just came out on the 25th of Sept. Make any sense? no. Anyway if you have an iPhone im sure you're all happy for the picture messaging without emails, because i know I do! FINALLY!!!
